CORPORATE PROFILE
Envirotel 3000 is a firm of expert consultants on environment and wildlife issues, whose activities are focused on the preservation of biodiversity. Leader in the environmental field, the assignments it has carried out have included wildlife and plant inventory and development projects across Québec and in neighbouring provinces and states. The firm's recognized expertise and sustained R&D efforts have allowed the development of a number of cutting-edge inventory protocols and tools for use with various wildlife species.
The firm was created in 2001 when Envirotel Inc. and Innovations Trionyx Inc. joined forces with a group of investors. The first of these entities had been in operation since 1989 in various fields related to the environment, wildlife, and flora; the second had been developing environmental products since 1997; and the last had been investing in the environmental field since 1996. Envirotel 3000 thus rallied the main strengths of the three groups in order to pursue their objectives more effectively. The quality of its work earned it the title "Business of the Year" in the small business category at the 2002 awards gala of the Fondation Estrienne en Environnement. THE TEAM Envirotel 3000 draws its expertise primarily from a team of experts with graduate degrees in diverse fields. In particular, the team includes biologists (a number of them senior) with extensive experience in the environment and wildlife field, as well as botanists, wildlife technicians, and specialists in electronics and computer systems. The team is supported by a highly structured network of outside resources, including specialized technicians, university researchers, and other professionals. This network provides the benefit of professional skills in closely and more distantly related fields, skills that are vital to the combined activities of environmental consultants and developers of related technologies. Through the realisation of our mandates, this team has developed unique, profound expertise in a variety of areas related to the evaluation and management of wildlife and plant resources. OUR PARTNERS Quebec's wildlife and parks corporation, the Société de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec (FAPAQ, formerly MEF, now the MRNFP) has been our partner on numerous projects since 1990.
